BrightHouse Barbecue
Staff from BrightHouse recently enjoyed a lunchtime barbecue and the day was hot, sunny and rain free!  Through donations they raised over £150 for their two designated charities, the NSPCC and Retail Trust

Please welcome Liz Ingram, who job shares with Cynthia as Estate Administrator.  Cynthia works Mondays and Tuesdays, whilst Liz works Wednesdays and Fridays. On Thursdays you will find them both in the office along with Jaklyn Sinclair the Facilities Manager. When passing the management office please pop in and meet Liz.
Project Update

B6 - 1st Floor
The fit out of the GreenLite Suites is going well and is on schedule.  Just a reminder if you know of any small businesses that would be interested in any of these suites, suitable for one to twenty persons, please ask them to contact us on 01235 865555.

SilverBean Cafe
Thank you for completing the customer satisfaction questionnaire relating to the food and service for the cafe. The second chilled cabinet is now fixed and houses new range of sandwiches, salads and croissants. A 2nd Panini machine is on order making this a dedicated one for vegetarian products.
Delivery service - the cafe provides and brings it to you - working lunches/sandwich delivery and much more! If you require more information on the Cafe, its products or if you have any comments or suggestions, please contact jeannette.mooney@blackmhor.co.uk

New timetables for Mulllany's buses. These are displayed in Reception B5 & B6.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London
As you may be aware the Harry Potter studio tour opened to the public this last weekend and as this is the beginning of the school Easter holiday time it may be busier than normal on the roads around the Business Park.

Out of Hours Security
With more people working out of normal office hours please can we ask that everyone is more vigilant about building security.  Please ensure that the main front doors close behind you.   Under no circumstances should doors be wedged open or left open in any way.  If you are concerned or suspicious about something please contact security on 0845 1212152. If you require a door access code please contact your office manager or Security.

Leavesden Park Recycling Benefits Local Charities
Carpet tiles that have been taken up as part of the refurbishment works in B6 have been donated to the Dacorum Borough Council, Garrad House (Abbeyfield) in Kings Langley, and DENS - action against homelessness.

Sun Shines on Leavesden Park Summer BBQ

On Thurs 1 Sept, the Leavesden Park Team hosted a summer party and bbq for their occupiers. Over 400 people came out to enjoy the food and sunshine, whilst listening to the mellow sounds of a steel band.

Donations were made for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Green Travel Day - A Great Success!

Thank you to everyone who came along to the green travel day last Wed. We had a good turn out from our own occupiers plus visitors from BT. Information from the attendees:

• New Bus Service - see leaflets in reception, posters and Parklife.
• Car Share - see Watford Commuter leaftets in reception and posters on noticeboards.
• Public transport - timetablesfor trains and buses can be found on the Intalink website www.intalink.org.uk
• Cycle to Work scheme - Cycleopedia displayed a range of new bicycles and provided details of how these can be bought at a good discount through the Cycle to Work scheme - www.cyclescheme.co.uk
• Electric bikes - attendees enjoyed the opportunity of test riding bikes from http://www.freegoelectricbikes.com
• Scooters - a selection of scooters were displayed by AVSCO to promote the huge savings from swopping 4 wheels for 2! See http://www.avsco.co.uk
• Community Police offered free security labelling for bicycles. They have offered to attend site again to provide advice to cyclists.
• Dacorum Cycle Training offered invaluable safety tips! http://www.dacorum-cycle-training.com

Scale Model Needs New Home

The model measures 1885mm x 1700mm and used to be displayed in the atrium of B5 before the Greenlite fit out. If anyone knows of an organisation that could make goood use of it could you please contact Anna Murkowski or Will Cole at B5 reception or email lphelpdesk@mepc.com
